Among the events for the 450th anniversary of the birth of Claudio Monteverdi, on November 8 and 9, the International Seminar ‘Vocal Affects in Chambers, Temples and Academies’ takes place in Barcelona (at the MFI-CSIC headquarters), under the direction of Luis Antonio González (Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas, CSIC) and Lucía Díaz Marroquín (Universidad Complutense, Madrid), with papers by, in addition to those mentioned, Arnaldo Morelli (University of L’Aquila, Italy), Guillermo Serés (Universidad Autónoma of Barcelona), Antonio Ezquerro Esteban (CSIC), Rubén López-Cano (ESMuC), Marc Heilbron Ferrer (ESMuC), Pedro Reula Baquero (University of Saragossa) and José Luis de la Fuente Charfolé (University of Castilla-La Mancha).
